CHAMPION FOREST IN BLOOM

HISTORY

CHAMPION FOREST IN BLOOM began in the spring of 2005 as the Entrance Enhancement Committee.  Members came from The Champion Forest Fund, Inc. ("HOA"), The Cypress Forest Public Utility District and the CF Garden Club.  At that time, entrance renovations were desperately needed.  As a result of this committee’s efforts, beautiful plantings, lighting, and improved irrigation were achieved around the guardhouses and brick marquees. Almost immediately, surrounding subdivisions and businesses were inspired and beautiful new blooms popped up everywhere.   Today, the program has evolved and serves as an adjunct between the HOA, Garden Club and other organizations within Champion Forest.

 MISSION:

The mission of Champion Forest In Bloom is to provide a community resource to assist with the planning and implementation for the continued revitalization of Champion Forest common areas through evaluation, education, recommendation, community outreach and communication. The volunteer members serve at the pleasure of the various organizations within Champion Forest in order to coordinate their many efforts.  To get involved, please contact any of the committee members.

 ONGOING PROGRAMS:

BEAUTIFUL TREE DONATIONS FOR THE ESPLANADES

Helping Champion Forest Bloom

You can celebrate a person or special event by planting a beautiful tree on a Champion Forest Community Esplanade.  Just fill out the form below and send it to Barb Smith

All plantings on the Tree Donation Form are guaranteed and purchased from reputable growers in 30 gallon containers.  Donated trees are inspected for disease and sizing requirements.  They are installed utilizing common landscaping specifications for container trees, taking into consideration climate conditions.  This special care is essential for the long and healthy life of the planting.

Brass Plates with your personalized inscription are included in the pricing and are available subject to approval of the wording by the Board of Directors of the Champion Forest Fund, Inc.  Brass Plates with your personalized message will be displayed for viewing at the Community/CFPUD Building located at 16215 Champion Forest Drive.
