Important reminders:

Your 2021 Annual Assessment statement is in the mail! Please pay promptly as prompt payment saves both you and your HOA time and money, both those commodities can then be used for the building of an even better community.

Did you know you can view your account and quickly and easily make your assessment payment via our TownSq – click here.

Traffic Safety:  Do not place any object in  public roadways. The little neon “kid alert” signs or warning cones need to be at the end of your driveway or in your yard.  On advisement of Precinct 4, objects placed in a roadway are a violation and considered a traffic hazard.

Our Waste Collection Service  is contracted by our PUD and serviced by Texas Pride Disposal.

Please note: We have “Backdoor Service” which means our garbage and recycling cans should be visible only on collection days and remain at our backdoor area.
If you use a lawn care service ensure that they do not leave your yard waste at the curb unless it will be collected that same day.

Click here for Texas Pride Disposal Trash and Recycling Guidelines

Please also ensure that your yard waste does not end up in the street drains.

Help us keep Champion Forest tidy!

Champion Forest Deed Restrictions prohibit the placement of signs in our yards, in public view, with the exception of one Realtor sign while a property is listed for sale or lease.

Texas Law allows Political signs within limits. In Champion Forest that means one sign per candidate and/or ballot item per homeowner property. They are limited in size and must be ground mounted and, may only be displayed 90 days before an election and for up to 10 days after an election. This is in accordance with the Election Code and the Texas Property Code

Based on Texas Law, only flags of United States, Texas and military branch of service are permitted.  See the Texas Property Code.

The full Champion Forest Fund / HOA Flags, and Political Signs policy can be found here.

All pets must be controlled on leashes when not securely restrained on your property. Neither the Brill playground or Cypress Forest Park are dog parks, dogs must be on a leash at all times.

This is in accordance with Harris County Leash Laws.

Ongoing work:

“There are always flowers for those who want to see them”. ~Henri Matisse

Monarch Landscape Management   is doing a great job for us and several of our entrances are looking much improved. Seasonal color plantings will be added at some entrances this month. When you see the Monarch workers out in our community in their trademark orange vests, give them a wave.

The Wall Committee has been established as Board member Russell Hildebrand, resident Myron Shemek. The committee is working to evaluate the community walls and formulate a plan of ongoing restoration and care of our aging walls.

Wall Care: We need every resident who has the direct benefit of our brick walls to care for the walls by keeping their trees, roots and foliage from growing against and over the walls. These practices will help us protect and prolong the life of our valuable community walls and prevent avoidable damage to these valuable community assets.

Cypress Forest PUD:  Section 4 sewer video inspection scoping has begun in preparation for rehab and maintenance work on that section of our sewers.

Work will begin shortly on the water plant 1 and tower on Herts Rd. The inside of the tower will be rehabbed and the exterior will be cleaned and repainted. Replacement of the generator at water plant #2 is in the bidding stage.

Your 2021 Annual Assessment statements are in the mail now! Please pay promptly as prompt payment saves both you and your HOA time and money, both those commodities can then be used for the building of an even better community.

2020 Annual Assessments or fees unpaid? Please make arrangements to pay them now if you have not to avoid extra costs and legal action. Did you know you can view your account and quickly and easily make your assessment payment via our new TownSq – click here.
