The Champion Forest Garden Club: A neighborhood special interest organization that was chartered in 1978. The mission of the organization is to stimulate knowledge and love of gardening, floral design, encourage civic beautification, and to promote the conservation of our surrounding natural resources. In 1980 a Garden Club member was instrumental in having Champion Forest declared a bird sanctuary.

The Club meets on the second Thursday of each month, beginning in September through the month of May. They host periodic field trips, along with various community projects such as the Arbor Day celebration, Annual Nut Sale, and the Blue Bird Houses in the PUD Park. They award the Garden Club ‘Yard of the Month’ as listed on their sign at the Champion Drive esplanade.

The Club also places the subdivision’s Christmas Decorations and sponsor the celebratory holiday flag placement at the subdivision entrances with the HOA’s permission.
